Privacy Policy

The short version: We collect only what we need to give you your Family Safety Score and report. We never sell your data. We never share it with insurers, agents, or advertisers. You can request deletion at any time.
What InsureIQ is
InsureIQ is a family financial safety diagnostic tool built and operated by Mindprint Technologies, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is not an IRDAI-registered insurance broker, agent, or aggregator.
InsureIQ helps Indian families understand their financial safety picture — through a score, a report, and access to government scheme information. Nothing in the app constitutes insurance advice.
What we collect
We collect the following information when you use InsureIQ:
- Phone number — used for account creation and login via OTP. We do not share this with any third party.
- Name — optional, used only to personalise your in-app experience.
- Assessment answers — your income bracket, family details, existing cover, loan amounts, health history, and financial goals. These are used to calculate your Family Safety Score and generate your report.
- Policy documents — PDFs you upload to the Policy Vault. These are stored encrypted. They are used only to extract policy details for your vault.
- Payment information — payments are processed by Razorpay. InsureIQ does not store your card details. We store only the payment status and plan type.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, or any government ID.
- We do not collect bank account details.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not use advertising trackers or analytics SDKs that share data with third parties.
- We do not collect contacts, call logs, or SMS.
How we use your data
- To calculate your Family Safety Score.
- To generate your personalised Family Safety Report.
- To identify government schemes you may qualify for.
- To store your policies in the Policy Vault.
- To send you policy renewal reminders if you have enabled them.
- To verify your payment and activate your plan.
What we never do
- We never sell your data to any third party.
- We never share your data with insurance companies, agents, or aggregators.
- We never show you advertisements.
- We never use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
- We never share your assessment answers with any entity outside InsureIQ, except with Anthropic's Claude AI solely to generate your personalised report — as described in the Third-party AI section below. This data is not used for advertising or profiling, and is never sold.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in secure cloud environments. Policy documents are stored encrypted. Assessment answers and report data are stored in a database accessible only to authenticated users.
We use Firebase for phone number authentication. Firebase is operated by Google and governed by their privacy policy.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. Card details never pass through InsureIQ servers.
Third-party AI service — Anthropic
InsureIQ uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate your personalised Family Safety Report. When you choose to generate a report, your assessment answers are sent to Anthropic's API for processing.
- What is sent — only your assessment answers are sent. These include your income range, insurance status, loan amounts, family situation, and health conditions. These are financial situation answers, not personally identifiable information.
- What is not sent — your name, phone number, Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, or any government ID are never sent to Anthropic.
- Who receives it — Anthropic, Inc., 548 Market St, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA. Anthropic processes this data to generate your report and does not retain it for training purposes under their API terms.
- Your consent — a consent screen is displayed inside the app before the assessment starts. This screen explicitly names Anthropic, describes what data is shared and what is not, and requires you to tap "I understand — Continue" before any data is sent. You may decline and exit at that point. No assessment answers are sent to Anthropic without this explicit in-app consent.

InsureIQ does not use your data to train any AI model. Your assessment answers are used solely to generate your personalised report.
Your rights
- Access — you can view all your data within the app at any time.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of all your data by emailing privacy@getinsureiq.in. We will process your request within 7 business days.
- Correction — you can retake the assessment at any time to update your answers.
- Portability — you can download your report as a PDF from within the app.
Children's privacy
InsureIQ is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@getinsureiq.in.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of InsureIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
